CMP Media's Communications Design Conference Opens Today
Over 1,500 Pre-Qualified Systems Design Engineers Slated to Attend

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CMP Media (NASDAQ:UNEWY) today announced that over 1,500 qualified communication systems design engineers from companies such as Cisco, Intel, Agilent, Cypress, ArrayComm, IDT, National, NEC, Nokia, and Xilinx are scheduled to converge unto the San Jose Convention Center for the Communications Design Conference, which opens today and runs through Thursday, October 2.

The conference will feature exhibits from IBM, Intel Corporation, Motorola, STMicroelectronics, Tensilica, Rambus, LynuxWorks Inc., NEC, and Vishay InterTechnology Inc. and others that will be displaying hardware, software, and services that enable attendees to preview the latest design technologies for communication systems.
