Patriot Scientific Announces IGNITE(TM) Embedded Processor Developed for Altera Devices

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Patriot Scientific Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: PTSC) announced today that it has optimized its IGNITE(TM) processor solution to support Altera Corporation's (NASDAQ:ALTR) Stratix Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) family.

Product developers requiring high performance can achieve their goals by integrating Patriot's embedded processor technology into Altera's system-on-a- programmable chip (SOPC) based solutions.
