Inaugural Bluespec Workshop to Be Held August 13 at MIT

User Community to Discuss Tools, Features, Capabilities, Offer Feedback to Bluespec Development Team

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The first Bluespec user community workshop will be held Monday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Stata Center at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Mass.

The workshop, hosted by MIT, will offer a forum for users to describe their experiences using Bluespec and to showcase the different ways in which Bluespec is being used.

The program includes user presentations in areas such as lowering power consumption, building processors, and architecture and performance modeling on field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). In addition, attendees will be given a Bluespec product update and opportunities to provide feedback to the development team.

Hardware designers and software developers from large systems and semiconductor companies worldwide, and members of academia are expected to attend.
