Actel Expands Sales Channel in Greater China

New Distributors and VARs Increase Penetration of Flash-based FPGAs in Telecom, Industrial, Consumer and Multimedia Markets

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Actel Corporation (NASDAQ:ACTL) today announced that it has broadened the company's extensive sales network in Greater China with the addition of two new distributors and four new value-added resellers (VARs). Actel's new partners, Acromax, Alltek, Asiacom, Plexus, Ipro and ZLG, will expand the company's geographic footprint and increase the company's presence in key telecommunications, industrial control, consumer and multimedia accounts in the region.

With the appointments of distributor Asiacom and VARs Acromax and ZLG in China, the full range of Actel's field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) are now available to design engineers in such diverse locations as Chengdu, Chongqing, Harbin, Hefei, Shenyang, Wuhan and Xi'an. New Taiwanese distributor, Alltek, and VARs, Ipro and Plexus, round out Actel's aggressive move to increase market penetration in Greater China.
