Nallatech Reinforces FPGA Leadership with New V-4 Offerings; Three New Products for Military & Aerospace Include PC-104 Embedded Computing, High-Bandwidth, High-Density Performance, High-Speed Analog Capture
LONG BEACH, Calif. & BALTIMORE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 2006--Nallatech has announced three new COTS FPGA products that apply the processing and I/O performance of Xilinx Virtex-4 FPGAs to the wide range of FPGA processing needs of the military and aerospace market. These products extend performance density for customers demanding PC-104, high-density digital I/O and SRAM memory and high-speed analog capture for applications including signal intelligence, software defined radio and C4ISR.
The additional products in the V-4 family will be presented today at the MEECC 2006 (Military Embedded Electronics and Computing Conference) in Long Beach. In October 2005, Nallatech announced four COTS FPGA products - BenNUEY-PCI-X-V4, BenBLUE-V4, BenDATA-V4, BenADC-V4 - that combine the processing and I/O performance of Xilinx Virtex-4 FPGAs with additional enhancements including host interface improvements and enhanced external memory bandwidth. The entire V-4 product family extends performance density for customers demanding the full capabilities of Virtex-4 in high-performance embedded military and aerospace computing applications.
