All American Provides Workshop at the ARM Developers' Conference 05; All American Workshop Provides Useful Information on the Atmel SAM7

MIAMI, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 2005--All American Semiconductor, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEMI), a leading distributor of electronic components, today announced the introduction of its SAM7 ARM Workshop to be held at the ARM Developers' Conference 05.

The All American workshop will provide an introduction to the Atmel SAM7 devices, their peripherals, and third party tools. An Atmel AT91SAM7S64-IAR starter kit will be provided to attendees for hands-on lab work.

SAM7 aims to bridge the gap between 8- (or 16-) and 32-bit microcontroller applications. Their focus is on real-time control applications that require features traditionally incorporated into 8-bit MCUs together with the superior processing power and extended address space of 32-bit MCUs.

The SAM7 workshop is offered at no charge to conference attendees and will be held at the ARM Developers' Conference, however there is limited seating. The workshop will be on October 6, 2005 at 1:00 pm - 3:45 pm. To attend the conference all 3 days the cost is $695.00 and for 1 day the cost is $395.00.
